Using SBW Radio.co Broadcaster

Once you’ve logged into SBW Radio, you’re ready to go live!
One thing to remember about SWB Radio.co broadcaster is that since you signed in with your SBW Radio account that you registered when you received the invite, then all your connection details are already saved. This means you don’t have to start entering host, port, or password credentials as you would any other broadcast application.
The first thing you need to do on the SBW Radio.co transmitter is ensure that all audio inputs are set correctly. The way to do this is to click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner and select ‘Settings’.

On the Settings page, you have the option to set the following:

• Music audio input – here you must select speaker output or audio input, such as a mixer.

• Microphone audio input – here you should select the microphone device being used, ie a USB microphone, internal microphone, etc. * If the microphone is connected to your mixer, it is not necessary to configure the microphone here. Only the computer microphone (internal or USB) will be used

•% audio reduction when the microphone is in use – This is the % reduction in the volume of tracks played when the DJ is using the microphone. We set this to 10%, but it can be reduced in 10% increments from 100% (no volume down) to 0% (no audio track).

• Broadcast quality – should be set in the same way as SBW Radio’s broadcast-quality which is 128kbps.

• Track information updates – You can choose to manually enter the track information (in which case you would enter it in the ‘Track information’ field in the screenshot above) or form of a text file, in which case it would receive one that will allow you to load the .TXT file.

When satisfied with the settings, click ‘Save’.

Broadcasting live with Radio.co Broadcaster

By default (unless you have enabled to connect automatically “Connect Automatically”), SBW Radio.co Broadcaster will be displayed as ‘Disconnected’. To go live, you just need to click ‘Connect’
It’s important to note that to go live, you would need a live DJ event scheduled with SBW Radio.

If you are using your PC’s microphone (internal or USB) and want to speak through the microphone, just click on the speaker symbol in the middle of the page. This will then mute the audio (if selected) and allow you to broadcast your voice through the microphone.
Once you want to stop talking, just click the speaker symbol again to mute the microphone.

And that’s SBW Radio.co Broadcaster!

You will be able to connect 5 minutes before the scheduled time where you can see the time countdown. For this you must be logged into the SBW Radio broadcasting portal. To login, click here and enter the credentials registered when you received the invite to connect as a DJ.

If you have any questions, the technical support team will always be happy to help. You can send us a message at info@doubletrading.com.

Important notes:

Transmitter disconnects from the live session – This could be due to the end of the live DJ event in the schedule. The system is punctual and transfers the transmission to you at the exact time, as well as ending at the exact time.

The transmitter will also disconnect if you are having network problems, so make sure you have a stable network connection.
